Introducing Your ‘Hearing Health Hotline’ [COVID-19 Update, March 17, 2020]

by | Mar 17, 2020 | Latest News

Having cared for the hearing health of San Antonio for 76 years, Audicles Hearing Services is taking preventative measures to ensure that the health and welfare of patients is the number one priority during the challenges presented by COVID-19.

While closely monitoring the recommendations of the CDC, a seven-step plan has been developed to ensure your safety.

As of March 17, 2020, patients are still welcome for appointments but your assistance to ensure that all risk is mitigated is essential through the following seven steps.

#1 – Your ‘Hearing Health Hotline’

If you are having a problem with your hearing aids, have a question or need any form of help, then you are encouraged to call us before visiting the office. In many situations, you may be able to get the help that you’re looking for without having to leave your house. Call us at 210-820-0525.

#2 – Essential Appointments Only

All patients that are scheduled for routine maintenance checks and non-urgent appointments are currently being contacted and rescheduled.

In situations where you may need batteries, please call the ‘Hearing Health Hotline’ and you’ll be able to receive them via the mail.

#3 – Please Ensure You’re in Good Health

In the same way that our team’s health is being monitored daily through temperature checks and routine hand sanitation, you are kindly asked to reschedule your appointment if you have had a fever or cough, or have traveled out of the country during the past two weeks.

#4 – The Waiting Room is Closed

The waiting room is temporarily closed to minimize your time spent in the office. This has been achieved by having extended availability to see patients as soon as they arrive with more spaced appointments.

#5 – Hand Washing on Arrival

All patients must wash their hands upon arrival before entering our office as clearly marked on the office door. Patients can use the restrooms adjacent in the corridor.

#6 – Thorough Cleaning Between Appointments

Between appointments, additional time has been scheduled to thoroughly clean all surfaces and ensure each patient is entering a sterile environment.

# 7 – Minimum Company for Appointments

You’re kindly asked to bring a maximum of one person with you for your appointment, and ideally visit alone if possible.

With not just your hearing health, but your overall health being our absolute priority during these difficult times, please know that the entire team at Audicles Hearing Services are here for you.

Our Hearing Health Hotline is 210-820-0525

Whether you have challenges with your hearing or need any form of help – please see us as your second family. That’s what you are to us.

All of our love
